Swachh Bharat Abhiyan gets thumbed down at Tehsil Office 6/9/2016 11:41:57 PM Early Times Report Vijaypur, June 9: The much acclaimed Swachh Bharat Abhiyan turned complete flop show in the Tehsil Office Vijaypur as the garbage is seen littered around every where giving a shabby look to the office where hundreds of people visit each day. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan a dream project of Modi led NDA government with an objective to make Clean India' but the nationwide 'clean India' project falls to ground as the dirty and smudged condition of the premises of Tehsil Office, Vijaypur and Block Ground Vijaypur is an indicator that the officials at the helms of affairs are least bothered about the 'nationwide cleanliness campaign- Swacch Bharat Abhiyan'. According to official sources Tehsildar being 1st class Executive Magistrate have power entrusted to him to issue the orders to Executive Officer Municipal Committee Vijaypur for cleaning the office premises on daily basis but the things are completely different on ground zero. "The Tehsildar Office has engaged private safai karamchari, reasons better known to officials at the helms of affairs, sources said, adding, "the garbage scattered around the office premises give a untidy and tattered face to the visitors coming to Tehsil office and its surrounding.
