The poor condition of road towards at Ward Numbers 7 and 8 of Bari Brahmana causes inconvenience to motorists and common man using cycles and carts in this area. The inhabitants of Ward Numbers 7 and 8 of Teli Basti Bari Brahmana have urged the government to construct the pacca road connecting NH1A to Teli Basti. They said that it is just a one kilometre stretch but yet has not been black topped till date. They alleged even the cosmetic repairs too have not been carried out on this road. The people told the Early Times reporter that for the last 18 years no developmental works in Teli Basti have been done by the successive governments despite various requests made by the residents of the area. "Due the bumpy and dusty ride on this road many residents are facing problems to ferry the household items to their residences," a local lamented. "This small stretch - a life line of many souls has utterly become an impression of road only making it difficult for a vehicle to pass even at a slow speed," he added. Some locals who own truck shops also alleged that the bad road also had hit their business as they suffer a big loss while transporting their consumable goods and many times have to transport goods manually. The residents have urged the elected representative to take their demand seriously and concede it at earliest especially before the rainy season when things turn worst for them. |
