JAMMU, Nov 17: A probe ordered into the medical books scam in Jammu University in July this year appears to have been an eyewash, as recommendations of the probe panel are gathering dust in the Vice-Chancellor’s Secretariat.
Notably, Director of the varsity's CDC, Jai Kumar, had purchased books worth Rs 40,000 for his doctor daughter from the exchequer after influencing Chief Librarian.

KISHTWAR, Nov 17: Ruling PDP's coalition partner BJP is yet to take any decision on whether to accept Mehbooba Mufti as Chief Minister if her father Mufti Mohammad Sayeed decides to step down, a senior BJP leader said today.
General secretary of BJP's State unit Ashok Koul said the party's core group is only authorized to take any decision on the issue.
