Pharmacists Association holds meeting, highlights demands | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 10: Jammu and Kashmir Government Pharmacists Association today held meeting and highlights demands. According to press release, Ajit Kumar member of association said that the main agenda of the convention was to elect new body of the association which has been not done since twenty years. He further demanded that the DPC of the Pharmacists category be conducted without delay, recognition of J&K State Pharmacy Council and State Medical Faculty by Pharmacy Council of India and HRD New Delhi at First Instant, replacement of one year Diploma certificate into two years through state nodal committees constituted by HRD and EXT Affairs Ministries New Delhi, patient care allowance @ 1400/m (Central Govt.) NPA and risk allowance @ 10 percent of basic salary should be given to the pharmacist community. As pharmacist are valuable to various deadly diseases as has been granted to X-Ray Professionals, inclusion of Pharmacist post in DH-SDH, CHC, PHC AD, S S/C under NRHM scheme and preventive side and one time state pharmacy council registration to in service Pharmacist and unemployed Pharmacists. Pawan Kumar, Bhadur Singh, Sanjay Choudhary, Beli Ram, Madan Lal, Jatinder Singh, Amarjeet Singh, Surinder Choudhary and Shiv Kumar Gupta were also present on the occasion. |
