Amid nation's outrage Masarat Alam issue, BJP ministers busy in identifying palatial bungalows for luxuries | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 10: Within ten days of the formation of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed led government in Jammu and Kashmir, BJP ministers in the government have been exposed due to their desperate attempt to accumulate more and more facilities and luxuries. While entire nation is witnessing outrage and uproar over release of hardcore militant, Masarat Alam Bhat by the state government, BJP ministers in the same government have tightened their lips and have maintained a criminal silence. The "defensive" BJP at national level is trying to find a way out to compensate the damage caused due to release of Alam, BJP ministers in Jammu and Kashmir are more concerned about their bungalows and other facilities. Some BJP ministers are agitating to get their portfolios changed while majority of them are busy in selecting new bungalows and vehicles. Highly placed sources said that during the last ten days, PDP-BJP government formed on March 1, majority of the BJP ministers are busy in identifying palatial bunglows. Accompanied by the "power-brokers" who have virtually kidnapped them, BJP ministers are moving from one place to another to identify government bungalows which they have to occupy because they are finding it difficult to live their houses, which have now become very small for them. The entire nation has raised their concern over release of Masart Alam, even central leadership of the party has been landed in a difficult situation after the high-profile release, none of the BJP ministers have so far spoken on this issue. Some intellectuals, who were earlier used to give advices to the BJP leaders on political issues, are now asking BJP ministers against giving any statement on Alam because these intellectuals are themselves trying to get berth in the Upper House. |
