| Cong leader Arun Sharma holds workers' meet | | | Early Times Report
VIJAYPUR, Mar 10: Senior Congress leader and member Pradesh Congress Committee Arun Sharma called a meeting of party workers/delegates from Block Purmandal, Vijaypur and Samba of Vijaypur Assembly segment at Gurha Morh, Vijaypur.
Arun Sharma while speaking on the occasion apprised the workers/delegates of the loss of assembly elections. He stressed upon the leaders and delegates to work only for strengthening Congress party workers informed the senior leader that some opportunist people belonging to other parties were working for the self interest but we are real and loyal party workers, our duty is to take care of grass root workers who are suffering forms last two decades as nobody take care of the Vijaypur Assembly segment.
Shram said that he was ready to cooperate every time with the people of the region for this purpose and that the village wise committees of the party would be formed soon to attend the problems of the people.
The delegates appraised the leader of the problems faced by the people including construction of roads, streets, power supply, need to hold medical camps for remote and backwards poor people and above all problems of unemployment among the unemployed youth of the area.
Sharma also welcomed the appointment of Ghulam Ahmed Mir as Pradesh Congress Committee president. |
