Priya Sethi visits Rajiv Gandhi Sports Museum

Jammu, May 7 : Priya Sethi, Minister of State for Education and Information Department, today visited Rajiv Gandhi Sports Museum at 41-B Karan Nagar Extension set up by Prof. Ashutosh Sharma in the memory of Rajiv Gandhi, Late Prime Minister of India and force behind successful conduct of IX Asian Games-Delhi 1982. Priya was highly impressed to see the vast collections of Mementoes, Lapil Pins, Medals, Photographs of dignitaries of various countries, Prime Ministers, Presidents of India, Governors, Chief Ministers and almost all the Ministers, Blazers of different countries which Sharma, visited during his sports career. The Museum also holds Valuable and previous souvenirs, trophies of various tournaments conducted by Prof. Sharma throughout the world. As expressed by various dignitaries who visited the museum she was also of the opinion that the highly impressive museum be shifted to some suitable place in the city to enable General Public and students in large No's to have a glimpse of museum and she inspired by the collections of Prof. Sharma. She wanted the museum to be an "Heritage" in Jammu. She was accompanied by Senior BJP Leader, Yudhir Sethi.
