SDM Marh pays surprise visit to various Government offices

Jammu, May 7: In continuation drive to bring transparency, inculcating the work culture and raising the standard of government departments, SDM, Marh paid a surprise visit to various Anganwadi Centres, Government Schools, Mobile Veterinary Dispensary (MVD), Medical Dispensary functioning in Marh.
During her visit SDM Marh visited Aganwadi Centres at Shekhan Peer, Gole pattan, Chatha Gujjaran, Galwadey Chak,Deory Nappu, Govt Primary School Shekhan Peer, Govt Middle School Simbli, Govt Primary School, Gaitla, Govt Primary School, Gole Pattan , Mobile Veterinary Dispensary (MVD), Gole Pattan, Medical Dispensary, Galwadey Chak in Marh.
During her visit at Veterinary Dispensary (MVD), Gole Pattan, it was found that the LSS and ATT were unauthorisedly absent from their duties and attendance register and other records were not maintained properly. Anganwadi Centre Galwadey Chak, the said centre was found closed and the concerned Anganwadi worker was found unauthorised absent from the duty while Govt Primary School, Gole Pattan, the Incharge Head Master was sleeping during the duty hours in front of the school door and the mid-day meal was also not served to the students.
Govt Primary School, Gaitla, the mid-day meal being served to the students has been found highly sub-standard. At Govt. Primary School, Shekhan Peer, the mid-day meal scheme is not being provided to the students near about two weeks. At Anganwadi centre, Shekhan Peer, only four children were present in the said Anganwadi centre and the anganwadi worker was found from the duty. Anganwadi centre, Gole Pattan, there was only four children present in the Anganwadi centre whereas the register revealed that there were thirty-four registered beneficiaries. Besides that, out of total eight registered P/Ladies and nursing mothers no nutrition was being provided to them.
Anganwadi centre, Deory Nappu, there were only two children present out of eleven registered children and nutrition was also not provided as per the desired scale meantime Anganwadi Centre (C), Chatha Gujjaran, the centre was closed and no child was present there while anganwadi worker was found unauthorised absent from the duty.
The all who were found absent or showing dereliction of duties have been served the Show Cause Notice and enquiry has been started against the officers/officials.
