Jammu, May 7: Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), premier Institute for training and research in Mass Communication under Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, has extended the date for submission of applications for admission to various Post Graduate Diploma courses in English and Hindi Journalism, Radio & Television Journalism and Advertising and Public Relations.
As per details notified in the Admission notice for 2015-16, the sale / submission of application forms has been extended to May 12, 2015 for the above said courses that would be undertaken in various centres setup by IIMC in the country. The entrance examination at all India level would be conducted on May 31, at notified centres including Jammu & Srinagar. The interviews of short-listed candidates will be conducted in last week of June / first week of July 2015. IIMC Jammu centre is currently offering PG Diploma in English Journalism only - an intensive one year programme, wherein students are exposed to Print Journalism, TV & Radio news production which involves a combination of theory and practical classes.
