Forest guard beaten up by miscreants 2/15/2016 11:10:50 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 15: A forest guard was allegedly attacked by a local when the former resisted damaging the forest property in Gharota locality in city outskirts. Police have registered a case in this matter. Police sources said that the victim has been identified as Mohd Yousaf (51) s/o Siraj Din of Bhalwal. In his statement to police victim Mohd Yousaf stated that he was on duty and resisted Asgar Ali of Dhar for damaging the forest property. "Irked over his resistance Asgar Ali called two of his family members telephonically and then the trio attacked him with stones and sticks," police sources said. They said that injured Yousaf was later shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu for treatment.
