'My family falsely implicated in rape case' 2/15/2016 11:31:21 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 15: Sheetal Chowdhary of Baran Patta has alleged that her family was falsely implicated in rape case at the instance of a man of Baba Tallab. She said Reasi police had lodged a rape case under sections 376 and 109 of RPC against Gagan alias Sunil, Ramesh and Rajinder Kour. She alleged that her family was falsely implicated in the case at the instance of one Suram Singh of Baba Tallab due to an old enmity. Sheetal alleged that as per CD file of police, Ramesh, who is father of Gagan, took Sonam (name changed) on a motorcycle to Akhnoor. From there, the CD file alleges, his brother Gagan took Sapna in a car to a forest area of Reasi where he raped her. Sheetal alleged that Suram hired the services of Sonam to implicate her family members in the false rape case. She alleged that Suram's son had raped her and the case was pending in the court. She alleged that Suram had threatened her of dire consequences if she did not withdraw the case and the city court had also provided her two PSOs for her protection.
