Jammu, Feb 15: Shreyansh Kumar Jain, President of Vichar Kranti Manch Int'l, a Social activist and Yoga expert was today awarded Life Time Achievement Award here at Jammu Club.
According to press release, a peace symposium organized by Ahmadiyya Muslim Community India on the topic "The Devastating Consequences of a nuclear war and the Critical Need for absolute Justice".
Dr. Nirmal Singh former Deputy Chief Minister was Chief Guest, Maulana Abdul Hameed Kausar, Secretary Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Qadian Punjab presided over and Justice J.P.Singh, Prof. R. D. Sharma Vice Chancellor Jammu University, Dr. Ashok Aima Vice Chancellor Central University Jammu, Simrandeep Singh Deputy Commissioner Jammu, and S. S. Bijral Ex IGP were the Guests of Honor on the occasion. Maulana Abdul Aftab was the main speaker on the subject besides other speakers were Prof. Rajnikant, Department of Physics Jammu University, S. S. Bijral and S. K. Jain. All the speakers emphasized the need of Peace and Justice in the society to avoid any differences of opinion and nuclear war. |
