Kathua, Feb 15: The NSS Volunteers/NCC Cadets of G.G.M. Science College today organized day long traffic awareness programme.
According to press release, SSP Traffic Mohan Lal appreciated the initiative which was taken by the college.
While interacting with the students of the College SSP asked the students to become role model in giving awareness to the common masses by advising them to follow traffic rules, wearing helmets and fastening seatbelts while driving their vehicles.
The students were witnessed stopping the vehicles and motor bikes and asking their drivers to fasting their seatbelts and wear their helmets.
Later, Viplav K Chowdhary, Deputy Inspector General of Police also addressed the volunteers and applauded the efforts NSS Unit of the College for participating in this Traffic Awareness Programme. |
