Kathua, Feb 15: Kids Heaven Convent Higher Secondary School, Kathua today celebrated Talent Hunt-2016 in the School premises, here today
Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Chief Executive Officer, Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority was the Chief guest whereas Aruna Sharma, District Education and Planning Officer, Kathua was the guest of honour on the occasion.
The programme started with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the Chief guest and other dignitaries, which was followed by the Sarswati Vandana. Radha Mansotra, Principal of Kids Heaven Sr. Sec. School, who presided over the function presented the progress report of the School. She apprised the gathering that students of the School have been excelling not only in academics but also in games and sports.
The students and tiny tots of the school presented variety of cultural and entertaining programme on the occasion. Thematic items on national intergration, education of the girl child and caring for the parents by the children were presented by the students.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan in his address stressed the need for imparting quality and value -oriented education to the students to make them better citizens of tomorrow. He appreciated the efforts of School management in this regard who are imparting free education to more than thirty students belonging to poor and marginalized sections of the society.
Sat Paul Mansotra, Director of Kids Heaven Senior Secondary School, Kathua thanked all the participants and presented mementoes to chief guest and other dignitaries on the occasion. The participating students were also honoured on the occasion. |
