KC Gurukul gives farewell to out-going students | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 15: K C Gurukul on Monday extended farewell to the out-going students of class XII. The farewell party was organized in the school premises. The function began with the traditional welcome song. It was followed by Sholka Chanting and Saraswati Vandhana to invoke divine blessings for a bright future. A colourful and entertaining cultural programme followed which enthralled the seniors. The inevitable dance performance was cheered loudly and greeted with a thunderous applause. Head boy Siddharth Sharma in his speech said that it is difficult to say farewell to a school that has given us education , a home that has given us a family, also expressed that all students would be a part of this school forever. A number of 12th Class students also spoke on this occasion and become nostalgic when they talked about the happy and carefree days that they had spent in the school. Chairman of the school Arvind Mahajan blessed the students and spoke to them about the need to be focused and true to oneself. Speaking on this occasion Head Mistress Anju Razdan told the students that there is no gain without pain and all the duties should be carried out peacefully, honestly and sincerely. She also advised the students to do good deeds, the result of which would come back to them. Students were presented mementoes and cards and were conferred titles by the organizers. The title of Mr. KC Gurukul was given to Ayush Dhar and Miss KC Gurukul was given to Sehaj Preet Kour. |
