Sainik School bids farewell to 12th class students

Jammu, Mar 18: Sainik School Nagrota bade farewell to class XII's student here today.
According to press release, the ceremonial "Dinner Night" was hosted at the cadets' mess to formally bid adieu to 50 cadets of class XII who are currently appearing in the ongoing CBSE Board Examination. Following a brief welcome address, the Cadets relished a sumptuous dinner. Subsequently, the proceedings began with the presentation of pen picture of the cadets of class XII.
Vice Captain of Azad, Bhagat and Subhash houses presented pen-portraits of the senior Cadets belonging to their respective houses amidst loud applause.
Colonel Kapil Dev Koushal, Principal gave away the school souvenir and a certificate bearing images of class XII cadets at the time of their entry in 2009 alongside a current photograph as a token of remembrance.
In his farewell address Kapil Dev Koushal complimented 22 cadets of the batch who cleared UPSC written examination and expressed confidence that all of them will clear SSB interview successfully.
