JAMMU, Mar 18: There is a set of SHOs who are so powerful they do not get transferred outside Jammu even when others are shifted to other districts and different police wings.
All of them enjoy the blessings of senior police officers, according to police sources.
"When other SHOs are transferred to outside districts and different police wings, these SHOs are not at all touched. Whenever they have been shifted, they have managed to get their transfer orders cancelled," sources said.
Posted in Jammu as heads of police posts, they were now SHOs. They had mastered the art of pleasing their bosses and keeping them in good humor to remain in Jammu, the sources added.
"But there are other Inspectors who have never served in Jammu only because they don't have political connections and lack the quality of pleasing their bosses," sources said. |
