Protest held over ‘No Reservation in Promotions’ 6/5/2016 10:33:35 PM Early Times Report Poonch, June 5: General Category people staged a massive candle light protest march in favour of "No Reservation in Promotions" The State of Jammu and Kashmir today on 04/06/2016, witnessed a unprecedented and massive candle light protest march in Poonch District on the issue of "No Reservation in Promotions" with thousands of members of general category irrespective of caste/creed/colour and religious affiliations from all parts of Poonch started their march from Parade Ground to Fort Poonch after passing through main market under the banner of Joint Action Commitee (General category) led by Er.Salim Bandey , Convenor Poonch District. Joint Action Committee made general category people aware of the ill conceived actions of certain MLAs and in particular Ringzin Zora who has in connivance with support of these MLAs contemplated to introduce Private Members Bill in the Legislative Assembly on the issue of Reservation in Promotions. The action of these MLAs speaks volumes of the brewing hatred among them against General category masses and they have breached the oath of constitution taken by them while assuming the charge.
