| GMC Principal abuses Blood Bank staff | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 5: It is shocking but true that a head of premier health institute- Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu abused staff of the Blood Bank and also ransacked the blood bank few days ago reportedly.
Reliable Sources within GMC&H told Early Times that a close lieutenant of head of the institute called some doctor in the blood bank and demanded blood from them but due to unknown reason the blood was not issued. Then he approached the head of the institute and both were visited blood bank where the head of the institute enquired about the Head of Department (HoD) blood bank-who was not available in the office- when he come to know HOD was not in office, Principal loosed his temper and abused the staff on duty as well as HoD.
"While, Principal also ransacked the name plate which was installed in the blood bank, "Sources stated and adding it was done by Principal only to appease his close lieutenant- who had complaint.
Seeking anonymity senior doctors told Early Times the behavior of the Principal of the institute like a 'dictator' who wants rules the roost. This is not first incident in the hospital since the person has become head of GMC&H Jammu, there are many others issue where he did work as own wish to appease close lieutenant and few political bosses. |
