CEO Reasi, ZEO Pouni pass the buck Teacher's brutality on minor 6/6/2016 12:25:40 AM A B Sharma Early Times Report Reasi, June 5: Taking cognizance of the brutality of an ReT at Barakh Middle School where a girl child was beaten black and blue, the Chief Education Officer Reasi, Vinod Kumar Saini, in order to duck humiliation meted out to him by the Barakh residents had called explanation of Zonal Education Planning Officer who had forwarded the first hand report of the incident to the Commissioner Secretary Education Shaleen Kabra. The cock fighting amongst the officers is threatening to sweep the issue under the carpet, wherein a minor has been victim of teacher's frustration. As per sources, the CEO Reasi vide Order No. 2403 -06. Dated. 4. 6. 2016, sought the explanation of ZEPO for his act of insubordination. The act of CEO Reasi and ZEO Pouni has brought great shame to entire Barakh village in District Reasi . A third standard girl named Shaina daughter of Nissar Ahmed was beaten black and blue by the ReT teacher Surinder Kour on the pretext that the child was not able to answer couple of questions asked by the teacher. The Chief Education Officer Reasi and Zonal Education Officer Pouni reached the spot and tried to manipulate the things by issuing verbal dismissal for the teacher which turned out to be a mere eyewash.
