Thanks to China, thanks to Pakistan: Namgyal
What is Sonia Congress up to?

Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 5: Something has gone wrong with the Congress. It has, it appears, lost its way. Its members in the J&K Legislative Assembly are behaving as if they were representatives of Pakistan and China. They have turned so perverted that they are openly siding with and praising China and Pakistan, India's two highly hostile countries, and they are flirting in a most brazen manner with those in Kashmir who wished to destroy the very identity and personality of Jammu region.
If, on the one hand, Congress MLA from Inderwal GM Saroori on May 31 batted for Jammu's division and setting up of an autonomous Hill council in the erstwhile Doda district, a move which evoked a sharp reaction from Jammu, and, on the other hand, Congress MLA from Nobra Delden Namgyal on June 4 used the floor of the assembly by praising China and Pakistan and telling New Delhi and the state government that the whole credit for the development of his constituency goes to Pakistan and China.
It was only because of these two neighbouring countries that development took place in his constituency, said Delden Namgyal in the Legislative assembly. "Development is taking place there only due to defence purposes. Thanks to China, thanks to Pakistan," he, in fact, said. Undoubtedly, he embarrassed both New Delhi and the state government.
Obviously, what Namgyal said was not his personal view. Nor was it an off- the-cuff remark. What he said was clearly the party line. It appears the Sonia Gandhi Congress, which today is no more than a marginal outfit, has decided to destroy her party by allowing her party legislators to hail and support Pakistan and work in tandem with the anti-Jammu forces in the Valley.
