SRINAGAR, JUNE 5:- Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (PSC) Sunday conducted written examination for 10+2 lecturer posts in School Education Department. The test in disciplines viz. English, Urdu & Physics was held in two sittings. The Commission for the first time established centres to conduct the examination in far flung areas like Doda, Rajouri, Leh, Kargil besides in Anantnag and Baramulla districts to ensure maximum participation of the candidates.
It is pertinent to mention here that the School Education Department had referred 1059 posts of Lecturer (10+2) in various disciplines for filling up under Fast Track Recruitment Policy in the month of March, 2016. The Commission issued notification for filling up of these posts and in response to the notification more than 87000 applications were received online. The Commission, for fifteen disciplines, has notified a schedule for written examination on June 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th, 2016 in 1st Phase. |
