Jammu, June 5: A teenager was today found dead near a tube well in Jammu University while the decomposed body of a man was recovered from Miran Sahib area.
Police sources identified the dead teenager as Sunil Sharma, son of Thoru Ram of Sungal, Akhnoor.
While Sunil had been working in the vegetable market, Thoru, an employee of PHE department, was at present posted at a tube well that falls under the jurisdiction of Nehru Market police post. After completing legal formalities, police handed over the body to family members for last rites. Police had registered a case to ascertain the cause behind his death. |
