MLA disallows construction work on several incomplete roads 6/6/2016 12:04:19 AM MS Nazki Early Times Report Mendhar, June 5: Construction work on several incomplete roads in Mendhar town has not been allowed to continue under Public Works Department (PWD) as local MLA of the area kept out of plan funds for the current year for these incomplete roads the sources said here today. Sources said MLA Mendhar, Javed Rana has disallowed to keep plan funds for several incomplete roads which were being constructed by the PWD for the last quiti some time. The MLA has failed to disclose the reasons which forced him to keep these incomplete roads out of plan funds for this current year, the sources added. The locals said that there were several construction works incomplete in their respective areas adding if MLA does not allows to keep plan funds for these works, the people will suffer. They said several works like bore well, installation of pump sets or road construction were yet to be completed. Taking the strong cognizance of the matter several deputations including prominent villagers of Mendhar town and other surroundings areas called on Mendhar youth club chairman, Advocate Nadeem Rafiq Khan and apprised him about the discrimination meted out to them. The advocate gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured them that their plight will be raised at relevant fora. He further appealed the Minister for Public Works Department to took personally into the matter and urged for contemning the continuing works of the incomplete roads in the town with the release of adequate funds for them, advocate Nadeem added. The prominent among the delegation were Hussain Khan Sarpanch, Altaf Khan Chairman Panchayat Mankote, Mohd Younis Dar Sarpanch, Mohd Aftaf alias Aftabi Panch, Mohd Khaliq Khan, Maqbool Hussain Jatt besides prominent villagers from Balnoi, Sagra and Mankote the sources said.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
