Jammu, June 5: Under the guidance of Nirankari Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev ji Maharaj, Sant Nirankari Mission organized their 7th Blood Donation Camp to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of its former Spiritual Head, Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji and to remember hundreds of devotees who laid down their lives for the noble cause of truth, love, peace and humanity.
Sant Nirankari Mandal, Branch Rajouri, organized this camp in collaboration with District Hospital, Rajouri and Red Cross Society, Rajouri where more than 100 volunteers of the Mission donated blood during the day-long camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan branch Rajouri. Worthy District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, Sh. Shabir Ahmed Bhat inaugurated the camp. Almost 110 saints volunteered themselves for blood donation .Out of which , 70 donors donated their blood for the cause.
Speaking on the occasion, the Zonal Incharge, SNM, Zone 1-A, Rev. Saint B.P.Singh ji mentioned the philanthropic initiatives of the Mission, saying that the organization is doing service for the mankind during the past over three decades by organizing free medical camps and blood donation camps.
He said the organization has set unique example of donating more than 8 lakh units of blood till date. With the message of Satguru Baba Hardev Singh ji maharaj that " Blood should flow in Human veins and Not in Drains", Mission is donating adequate number of blood units to meet the requirements of various health institutions and is also giving its services during the emergencies and disasters. |
