Senior docs create hurdles in SMGS hospital's functioning | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 7: It is strange that true that some senior faculty members in Government Medical College and Hospital and its associated hospitals are influencing small to small affairs as well as major administrative decisions for their personal interest. Moreover they want to run these affairs as their wish which is affecting working of the hospitals and also indirectly disturbing patients' care. Reliable Sources within GMC&H told Early Times that a senior doctor of a department in Shri Maharaja Gulab Singh (SMGS) Hospital Jammu allegedly interfering and influencing small and major decisions of the department and the doctor also busy in making lobby to create hurdles in the working of the hospital reportedly. "The doctor wants to run all the affairs of the department as own wish by removing genuine staff who was working hard to improve the things of the department. If doctor of the department improves things or discuss departmental issue, the said doctor dines to do it or demands credit of it and those decisions are taken which like by the doctor weather the decisions are welfare the department and patients' care, "Source alleged. Sources believed that the department is likely to be redundant if these times of politics are continue on small affair and the day is not so far when the department would lost its identity. It seems the senior doctors in the above said hospital are only interest in politics instead of attending patients who visit in the hospitals not in the profession. |
