KARGIL, June 7: Real Lona Baroo lifted the 1st Kargil Street Football Trophy defeating S.TV Ladakh by a solitary goal at Khree Sultan Chow Sports Stadium, here today.
In all, 20 teams from all over Kargil participated in the competition and Real Lona Baroo and S.Tv Ladakh qualified for the finals. The event was organized by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Kargil in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra Kargil (NYK) Ladakh. Sajjad Hussain was adjudged as best player of the tournament. District Youth Services and Sports Officer LAHDC Kargil, Aga Thoha was chief guest while Gulzar Hussain Munshi was guest of honour. Earlier, district president BJYM, Mohd Hassan Pasha felicitated and welcomed the chief guest with khataks. |
