Jammu, June 7: People Democratic Party's Zone president, Puneet Singh Jamwal today flayed opposition leaders for launching a false and frivolous campaign against the coalition government over power cuts and said that there had been a drastic improvement in supply of electricity and water.
Sensing people's need and prevailing heat waves, the state government under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Mehooba Mufti has ensured that regular and uninterrupted power and water is supplied to different localities. However, opposition leaders merely for the sake raising a hue and cry are trying to mislead people. "No government be it BJP-PDP coalition or anyone else could ever afford to leave people craving for power and electricity and keeping in view the ethics and principles of governance our government is putting in all possible efforts to ensure better civic amenities to people of our state", he said. |
