12/20/2016 9:17:27 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Dec 20: GBSWA President Zulfqar Kassana strongly criticized recent selection lists of Assistant Professor for History and Computer Application by the Jammu Kashmir Public service Commission. He lambasted that in both the subjects Gujjar and Bakarwal candidates have been ignored, while Gujjar and Bakerwal community exists large as proportional to population among other communities. He said it is a smooth conspiracy of JKPSC to squash the right of GB. In both subjects all the candidates have been selected from ST Leh and Kargil and some having fake ST Certificate i.e Lone, Butt, Malik etc. The socio-economic conditions and ethnic characteristics of Lone, Butt, Malik do not match with GB People.
He said that the chairperson of JKPSC should stop the atrocities on Gujjar Bakerwal candidates. According to the population Gujjar Bakerwal community is large among other Tribal communities. Zulfqar Kassana urged J&K Chief Minister and Governor to intervene in the matter personally and should make a criteria according to population. He also requested them to reject the list.He warned, if JKPSC Board didn't make criteria for selection as proportional to population, we will launch strong agitation throughout the state and JKPSC as well as Govt. will be responsible.
