Jammu, Dec 20: JKPCC has strongly criticised the state government for its failure to address the issues of workers and employees of different departments, who are agitating on the roads for their genuine demands. In a statement issued here today, the JKPCC chief spokesperson said that the casual workers, daily wagers, consolidated employees, contractual, need-based workers and employees of several departments were holding regular protests, seeking fulfillment of the commitments and promises by the coalition government with them. It was unfortunate that instead of redressing their grievances, they were being neglected and lathicharged. "The unrest in the working class is a cause of great concern and the government should immediately fulfill the promises made by it with them and sort out their genuine issues without any further delay," he said. |
