JKNPP bats for fight against shifting of Degree College Majalta 12/20/2016 9:17:40 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 20: Nirmal Kesar Youth Leader/Incharge NPSU (Block President JKNPP) today called on all student community to be united for the fight against the temporary shifting of Degree College Majalta to new place. He urged the student community to raise their voice against shifting of temporary locations of degree college. He said that it is clear that 80% population of Majalta wants Degree College on road side for the benefit and comfort of student community of far flung areas. He further said that Higher Secondary School Majalta which is chosen as new venue for temporary degree college is already overburdened with more than five hundred students. In such situation if Degree College is also shifted in the same building how students of New Degree College shall be accommodated and adjusted to continue with their precious studies in the same Higher Secondary School Building. He further said that this step proves to be disaster for both college and Higher Secondary students and a set back to their career apart from disturbance to their academic arrangements. Nirmal said that the Court decision is respected further adding that student community prefers the current location of the said degree college Majalta. But all this happened due to vested interest of some political leaders. He further said that if need arise NPP will not hesitate to file case in upper court in favour of student community.
