Kishtwar, Dec 20: Contrary to the common speculation that due to 'demonetization' support base to BJP is gradually declining, the district unit of BJP today claimed to have 90 Congress workers joined BJP exuding their faith in ideology of party. As per the details available with "Early Times" senior BJP Leader from Inderwal and State General Secretary Muslim Morcha J&K Tariq Hussain Keen along with other party activists conducted extensive tour of Sigdi Bhata area of Sub Division Chatroo of Inderwal Constituency. During his tour many Congress leaders including Ex Sarpanchs and Panches and workers from Sigdi Bhata area of Inderwal giving a major jolt to Congress in Inderwal constituency of Kishtwar District joined Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in presence of Tariq Hussain Keen who warmly welcomed the new faces into party folds. Meanwhile newly joined people pledged to carry forward the mission of BJP party as foot soldiers of the party, saying that BJP is the only political party which has always espoused the cause of people. Welcoming the new faces in party folds, Tariq Hussain Keen said that people of Inderwal had exuded confidence in BJP and added that Congress is losing its footing in the constituency due to poor people and selective policies. Asserting that BJP stands to resolve problems being faced by the public of the Inderwal area, Keen gave a patient hearing to the grievances raised by the public and assured them about his sincere efforts to resolve all the problems of the people in the area. |
