Jammu, Dec 20: Ramisht College of Education today organized an anti-child labour campaign with objective to aware the students about the importance of childhood and to develop sympathetic attitudes towards the childrens in the society. The campaign was started from college. The students of college (1st and 3rd semester) went door to door and award the society about the ill-effects of child labor. In anti-child labour campaign staff of the college was also present along with the procession. The procession went to the village Plahi and award the society. The villagers actively participated and appreciated the work and efforts made by the students. The students of the college also took oath that they will always oppose the child labor. The procession was raising slogans that were India should be free from child labor. Child should go to the school for study, not for dangerous work, Prevent Child Prevent Nation, Child is the asset of the nation etc. The anti-child labor campaign was ended with the speech of Dr. Saifullah Khan, Director of the college & Mr. Mahan Singh, P.T.I of the college thanked the students, teachers & locals for the cooperation. |
