Jammu, Feb 9: A major scam in selection of Ancillary Medical Trainees in Jammu and Kashmir Ancillary Medical Training School (AMTS) has surfaced. A close aide of former Health & Medical Education Minister has reportedly compelled the in-charge principal of AMTS to run the classes of nominated students recommended by former Health Minister despite the fact that selection list of AMTS is yet to be announced.
Reliable source in department said that a close aide of former Health Minister has been influencing the functioning of department to such an extent that despite that fact the State Paramedical Council has clearly mentioned in advertisement that the aspirants' forms to be considered, who have passed examination of 12th with biology (Physic, Chemistry& Biology) and apart from these, others would not be considered for AMT.
