kathua, Mar 12: Unemployed Male Multipurpose Paramedical Health Workers, (MMPHW), held a meeting at Bhagat Singh Park while discussing various issues the members sought job avenues in health department and filling of various posts lying vacant in different medical institutions. Speaking on the occasion Vinay Sharma, President of MMPHW Kathua unit said that unemployed trained Youth of district Kathua who have done Diploma course of Male Multipurpose health worker through paramedical Colleges of the state as well as rest of India facing unemployment for many years but no post is advertised for males who have done similar course as Female workers done. Speakers said 2000 trained workers are facing negligence of the department as many posts were advertised for female workers but not a single for male workers since 2009. informed that Organization would submit memorandum comprising demands for advertisement of posts for Male workers to state and union Health Ministers. Kamal Singh, Suresh Kumar, Amarjeet Singh, Amrik, Pawan, Jeet Kumar and many others were present on the occasion and demanded rectify their demand for secure future. |
