Dr Jitendra Singh's silence disappoints medicos | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 12: The Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office and senior BJP leader Dr Jitendra Singh maintaining silence, over the unruly behavior of the Health Minister Chaudary Lal Singh with a lady doctor and others, has disappointed the medical fraternity. A senior doctor while talking to Early Times said: "We expected Dr Jitendra Singh to react but he maintaining silence over doctors facing humiliation at the hands of the Health Minister has disappointed us." He said that doctors played a vital role in ensuring Dr Jitendra Singh's win from from Jammu-Udhampur parliamentary seat. "Doctors carried out a sustained campaign in the favour of Dr Singh and ensured that his message reaches out to people. He (Dr Singh) not uttering a word to condemn the minister of his party misbehaving with a lady doctor and other medicos has shocked all of us," said a group of doctors. Pertinently, a lady doctor Dr Gurmeet Kour has filed a written complaint against the incumbent Health Minister Chaudary Lal Singh for misbehaving with her. The doctors said that Dr Gurmeet Kour has been the student of Dr Jitendra Singh. "It's really unfortunate that Dr Singh has even failed to sympathize with his student. It seems he (Dr Singh) is in no mood to annoy Lal Singh," they added. |
