Ex-twitter CM, ex-Cong colleagues of Lal Singh silent
3/13/2015 12:47:46 AM

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 12: Twitter ex-Chief Minister whose tweets outnumbered the Paras of the Common Minimum Programme (CMP) seemingly took no interest in ex-Congressman and now a BJP Health Minister in the PDP-BJP coalition government Choudhary Lal Singh's alleged outrageous, livid and unreasonable comments on a lady doctor.
Ex-Chief Minister Omar Abdullah who spent last two months tweeting over every development that took place inside or outside the state found no time to tweet a few words for a female Psychiatrist who not only took Choudhary Lal Singh but ensured that an FIR is registered against him within no time. She even appeared on various channels seeking justice and went on to request MOS in the Prime Minister's Office Dr. Jatinder Singh to take action against errant minister.
But Omar maintained stoic silence despite being leader of the opposition. Congress too preferred not to annoy their ex-colleague. Even their leader preferred being out of the scene and out of touch with what had Singh done to a female doctor. None spoke a word and all preferred silence over taking Singh head one. To make matters worse, a non-state subject wife of Dr. Wasiq Rasool, who is Deputy Medical Superintendent of GMC Hospital, not only argued with the female doctor but threatened her of dire consequences if she did not withdraw her complaint.
