RSS to ponder over recent developments in J&K | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 12: The RSS meeting-All India Pratindhi Sabha, is likely to take serious note of the developments in the Jammu and Kashmir. The Sabha scheduled to be held from Mar 13-15 in Nagpur is being attended by the top leadership of the RSS. According to sources, it is because of the coming meet of the RSS, that Modi government not only took serious note of the development in the J&K especially on the release of the Masart Alam but also distanced itself from it. It was also because of this that Ram Madhav was dashed to the Jammu to hold meeting with the CM and express the displeasure of the BJP over the developments. The RSS will discuss the developments in the J&K and after thread-bare deliberations a strong message could be given to both the Centre and the Jammu and Kashmir government. "The message from the RSS will be policy draft for the BJP government and stern directions to the Mufti Sayeed to not cross red-lines, as perceived by the RSS," said a senior BJP leader. The RSS has worked hard for the coming of the BJP government in the Jammu and Kashmir. Its cadre from all over the country camped in the State to mobilize the voters and it was because of these efforts that BJP got into the governance. "The objective was to put in place a nationalistic government in the State. But the statements of the CM and the release of the Masarat has sent the message that it has gone ahead of the previous government and this is unacceptable." Said the leader. The RSS would also send the message to the BJP that its main aim is to bring in governance changes to bring Jammu at the forefront and also bring in constitutional changes. The BJP is also likely to be given the message that while should be sensistive to the sensitivities of the Kashmir region but should make efforts to change the perception. |
