USM felicitate over 70 meritorious students of Sarayara Biradari

Jammu, July 12:Recognizing merit in academics, science and sports, the Upgrade Saryara Movement (USM) felicitated over 70 students of Saryara community here today.
As per press release, Prof (Dr) Ajeet Angral, Principal Government College of Education, Jammu was Chief Guest on the occasion, while Banarsi Lal Pajgotra acting president and Ram Lal Sagotra acting general secretary of Saryara Sabha, Bahu Fort were presided over the function.
The students and youth who excelled in the field of academic, sports haling from various areas of including Barn, Kot-Bhalwal, Jandyal, Rayaa, Sujani, Barodi, Samba, Kathua, Udhampur, Reasi presented in the function. The proceeding of day was commenced with floral tribute to Mahatma Shri Atma Ram Sidh ji by dignitaries followed by welcome address by Banarsi Lal Pajotra.
In welcome address, acting president of Saryara Sabha thanked the special guest for gracing the occasion. He also appreciated the role of USM for promoting education. "We all need to work together towards the progress of community and to ensure conducive atmosphere for children, who are the future pillars of the society," he said.
Delivering key note address, Ram Lal Sagotra presented brief introduction of activities of USM. He informed that the group has started free counseling of students besides coaching classes for competitive examination for under graduate and graduate level students. "From last few years we are felicitating meritorious students of community and we are happy that day by day the number of students got increase and we achieve, which is a quite joyous moment for us," he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Ajeet Angral congratulated the USM members for promoting education among the society. "The education and good health are two keys for successful life and healthy society," he said, adding, "I am quite happy that today my students take this task in hand to educate people, despites of having their own personal and professional commitments".
He said that the Matric and Class XII exam are the two most important stages in the life of a student though these are just the beginning of their career. So, during the period, the students should be given proper guidance by both the parents and teachers.
