Sunderbani, July12: Irked over Non-construction Bridge over Sodra Nallah, the residents today lambasted government for not fulfilling its promises.
The locals said that it has become a permanent feature that traffic come to halt even after an small rain in the area.
The residents of Kalideh, Peli, Phal, Mallah, Bharore, Ghai and Banpuri today held a protest against govt. for ignoring the issue for long time. They said that during rainy days, all the major villages cut off from Sunderbani, because of flood at Sodra Nallah.
"One has to wait to cross the Nallah, till the water recede. We are demanding a bridge over Nallah since long, but are demand has not been met by successive governments", said a local, who trapped on other side Nallah. 'I'm waiting to receede water level to cross the rivulet, for hours, since this rainy season," he said and added that during monsoon one cannot cross the rivulet. |
