GCE holds tree talk 1/20/2016 12:43:22 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 19 : A tree talk was held in the Govt. College of Education, Canal Road, Jammu by Dr. O.P Sharma (Vidhyarathi) IFS. Other dignitaries present were G.D Chalotra IFS DFO and Prof. Bhola Nath Retd. Principal. The program began with the welcome address by the Principal Prof.(Dr)Kaushal Smotra. While interacting with the students and staff of the college Dr. O.P Sharma (Vidhyarathi) IFS disseminated valuable information about the wild relatives of cultivated plants and stressed upon their conservation. He further discussed about the conservation of indigenous plant species, value addition to them and using them as bio resource for sustainable development.
