Atul nominated as Member for selection of Indian Taekwondo team | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 19 : Atul Pangotra (NIS) international Player/Referee has been nominated as Arbitration Board member for the Selection of Indian Taekwondo team for the South Asian Games scheduled to be held in Shillong from February 13-16. "First time from J&K any person from Taekwondo has been nominated as an Arbitration Board Member in the International selection trails, a press statement said. It added that Atul Pangotra already had represented TFI in the selection Trials in SAI Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Atul Pangotra is working in Youth services and sports dept as a Physical education teacher. He has already officiated in more than 50 National and International Championships as a referee. He is the first International referee from the State of Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile Nissar Hussain Vice President JKTA has congratulated Atul Pangotra on this achievement. Raj Kakati President Taekwondo federation of India requested Director General Youth Services and Sports for deputing Atul Pangotra for the selection trails and the same was accepted. |
