Ramban, Mar 2: National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) today organizes a financial literacy camp. According to press release, attendants included Aarshi Sharma District Manager NABARD Ramban, Mohan Singh FLCC SBI, Gupta GM DIC, Naresh AD Employment, Mohsin JKEDI, RSETI, Superintendent ITI and staff and students of institute. Sharma started with introduction of all banking products like savings accounts, fixed deposits, Recurring Deposits, loans, etc. Later she explained banking system in India. She briefed working of banks and functions of RBI and NABARD to students. She also motivated students to join banks after completion of studies. Singh stressed that parents should open savings accounts for their children also so that savings for child's education start early. He detailed students about various courses running in RSETI. Later a Quiz competition on banking was organised and prizes were distributed among the students. |
