Blue eyed enjoy attachment in Director's office, ZEO faces music Selective implementation of Govt orders in Education Department 3/3/2016 12:25:53 AM Abodh Sharma Early Times Report jammu, Mar 2: Brazen administrative hypocrisy of the Directorate of School Education has come to the fore with the suspension of Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Ramgarh, who was penalized for alleged non compliance of Government order No. 26-EDU of 2016 dated 2.2.2016 which pertained to relieving the attached staff. While the ZEO Subhash Chander was placed under immediate suspension by the Director School Education Smita Sethi vide her office order No. DSEJ/GAZ/65965-68 dated 25.2.2016, alleging that the said officer had behaved in a manner unbecoming of a Government employee by not relieving the teaching staff under him, it is ironical that scores of officers and officials continue to be attached in the office of the Director School Education and several other officers of the department. "ZEO Ramgarh has been made a scapegoat while many officers are attached in Director's own office for years and she has herself sought their attachment" said an officer of the department. ET learnt that one Subhash Chander, an officer of head master grade has been attached in the Director's office for years. "He is famous as 'informer' in the Director's office and the Director had herself contested his attachment when Commissioner Secretary Shaleen Kabra directed to relieve him" an insider divulged adding, "Why should the Government order be implemented selectively?" He also informed that besides the office of DSE, attachments are intact in other offices as well. "Sunita Pandita, an employee in the master grade, actually posted in Higher Secondary School Bakshi Nagar is attached in the legal section of CEO office for over 15 years, a Laboratory Assistant has been attached in the office of SDM Khour, while another employee of the Education Department has been attached in the office of Tehsildar Khour; besides, several other officials, including a close relative of MLA Chhamb continue to be attached at convenient places of posting but no action has been taken for their detachment" he informed further.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
