NC assails PDP-BJP Govt for introducing NFSA Questions Mehbooba over delay in Govt formation 3/2/2016 10:08:10 PM Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report Kishtwar, Mar 2: National Conference District Unit Kishtwar Joint Secretary Imtiyaz Ahmed Zarger and held a strong protest outside DC office Kishtwar against the implementation of National Food Security Act and termed it as anti people and a big blunder of PDP Minister Chowdhary Zulfikar Ali. He also questioned the Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti over her delay in taking the decision on government formation. As per the details available with "Early Times" hundreds of National Conference Workers on the initiative of District Youth President Farooq Ahmed Dev today assembled at party office and held a march towards DC Office Kishtwar and blocked the road for more than two hours. They demanded roll back of the act and appealed the Governor to issue necessary orders in this regard. While addressing the gathering Zarger launched a scathing attack on PDP-BJP government for allowing implementation of NFSA in the state. He also criticised PDP MLC Firdous Ahmed Tak for his silence over the implementation of NFSA by issuing a statement in which he agreed that present form of the NFSA will deprive 62000 souls of Kishtwar District added that the PDP MLC instead of issuing statements today should have countered the government when they were in power and said that instead of accepting its party mistake, PDP MLC restored to theatrics with an attempt to save his skin. He said that MLC Kishtwar also missed no chance in eulogizing the act but now they too are questioning the Act and also questioned the silence of the former Minister Sunil Sharma. NC leader said that MLA Kishtwar instead of accessing the problems of the common masses is concentrating on return to power by hook or crook. "I want an answer from Mehbooba ji that what she achieved over her deal with RSS and BJP in 10 month rule led by his late father--- let her reveal what are the CBMs that are creating hurdles in formation of new government" said Zarger added that instead of pushing the state in uncertainty, PDP should clear its stand viz government formation or felicitating the dissolution of the assembly so that new elections could be held in the state.
