ReT aspirant allege Govt's callous approach towards 'non-selection' | | | MS Nazki

Poonch, Mar 2: Alleging that Government has failed to provide any succor to ReT aspirants who have applied against 26 vacancies announced in Salwah Village falling under Mankote zone in 2011 but still are lying vacant after the lapse of almost five years. According to aggrieved, an expert panel's list for selection of candidates against 26 posts has been biting dust in the office of Chief Education Office (CEO) Poonch where as the aspirants have been left high and dry and many are at the verge of getting over aged. An aspirant Tasleema Akhtar wife of Iftikhar khan while talking to Early Times said that she has done her master degree in 2004 and applied for ReT teacher post in 2011, why authorities not considered the candidature of the aspirants. She further said we were hoping for our appointments since past five years but with each passing day the majority of aspirant are losing their hope as many are at the verge of attaining upper age limit ironically officials at helm seems to be unconcerned about the polight of the aggrieved. Meanwhile aspirants have urged Governor NN Vohra to intervene into the matter and direct Director School Education Jammu to see the matter. Some aggrieved aspirants alleged that we have approached to concerned Chief Education Officer but got a brief reply that our cases have been sent to office of Director Education and to its sharp contrast official at Director's office refuse to have received any such files. All attempts to contact CEO Poonch, Lal Hussain, turned futile as his mobile phone was on switched off mode. Meanwhile District Development Commissioner (DDC) Poonch MH Malik told Early Times that he will look into the matter and initiated action at the earliest. |
