Misuse of Beacon light: Distt official in violation using 'Blue and Red Light' 3/2/2016 11:35:22 PM Rajesh Tandon Early Times Report Poonch, Mar 2: Despite the Apex Court directions about the use of Beacon lights, it is found that some district officials in Poonch are violating the law and the District Officer Sheep Husbandry Poonch Dr V K Bhalla is using openly a 'beacon light' on his official vehicle. According to reports CMO Poonch, BMO Surankote and BMO Mandi too were violating the traffic rules and were using beacon lights on their vehicles but after being pin pointed they have removed the lights now. However the above mentioned officer continued to misuse the beacon light blatantly. Pertinently Jammu and Kashmir presently is under Governor Rule and no minister can use any beacon light on his vehicle but how and why said official in Poonch is using the beacon light on his official vehicle.
