CPPWU demands degree college for Paddar | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Mar 2: A meeting of Chinar Power Projects Workers Union (CPPWU) District Kishtwar was held today under the chairmanship of Joginder Bhandari. The meeting was attended by a large number of workers. While speaking on the occasion, Joginder Bhandari Chairman of the union urged upon the Ex-MoS Home and MLC Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo to hold talks with the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir state to grant Government Degree College for Paddar which is a long demand of the public of the area. Bhandari said that the union MoS in PMO Dr. Jatinder Singh during the parliamentary elections had committed to grant Degree College or Paddar but since a long period has been elapsed not Degree college was established as result of which the students after passing 10+2 from Government HSS Atholi failed to seek admission in other degree colleges and their one year got spoiled. Similarly the MLA Kishtwar Sunil Sharma also promised but his commitments proved hallow and failed to grant Degree College for Paddar which is a matter of great concern. In this contest Bhandari has urged upon the Ex-MoS Home and MLC Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo to hold talks with the Governor so that the Govt. degree college for Paddar will commence during this session so that the Paddar students may not suffer any more. |
