Ramban, Mar 2: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Ramban, Ravinder Nath Sadhu along with other officers conducted one day tour in many villages of Tehsil Gool, today. The ADDC was accompanied by SDM Gool, Zameer Ahmed Reshu, BDO Sangaldan, Gundi Dharam and Gool, concerned engineers and various other tehsil level officers.
A large number of people including Sarpanchs, Panchs, prominent citizens, educationists, women and youth interacted with ADDC at Dharam Kund, Sangaldan, Gundi, Gool and raised the issues of pending payments and non-supply of cement bags for the year 2015-16 and also provided feedback about ongoing developmental works in their respective areas.
During his visit to the panchyats, the ADDC inspected ongoing works on roads, buildings including Revenue complex, employee hostel and conference hall, culverts, protection works, lanes and drains, drainage of Nullah and shingle metaling of road and other works under MGNREGA, toilets in IHHL scheme and houses for the poor under IAY.
He called upon executing agencies to maintain transparency and quality wile executing works and issued warning to the concerned for invoking stringent action in case of any loop holes.
The ADDC also instructed the staff of health and education institutions to adopt the habit of good work culture and not to leave the stations without any prior permission. In this regard he also asked the SDM to keep strict vigilance on the staff of all schools, hospitals and other offices. |
