AAP Migrant cell holds meet, highlights demands | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 2: while lambasting both State and Central Governments for their pathetic approach towards, Kashmir Pandit Migrant Community, Aam Aadmi Party Migrant cell J&K Chairman Sunil Kumar Pandita Said that our community has been ignored on all fronts during a meeting held here today. In 2011, he said the then Govt announced 6000 posts for KP unemployed Youth by State and Central Govt respectively but till now State Government has not announced even a single post while as Central Govt announced 3000 posts out of which 1963 have been employed Pandita demanded filling up of remaining vacancies including additional posts announced by Govt of India in fresh package, at earliest and any further delay in this regard will be futile he added. He further demanded that State Government while implementing the package should avoid redtapeism and instead referring posts to JKSSRB, Migrant Selection Board should be framed so that the work is done on fast track. While addressing office bearers he said that there should be no interviews for class IV posts and all the posts should be equally distributed among each category if any, so that the process go on smoothly and youth from all walks in the community get benefit of the package. Pandita said the plight of KP Community be put on priority and filling up of vacancies be taken up at war footing. He urged Governor NN Vohra through a memorandum that the Kashmiri Pandits were the most sufferers after their migration in 1990 to Jammu and other parts of the country. They need a sympathetic touch to heal up their wounds by the Government. |
